Accessibility is now a legal requirement, and a growth opportunity.

The European Accessibility Act sets common accessibility rules across the EU. In Lithuania it applies through national law. If you sell to consumers online, it very likely applies to you.

The law is in force

Since 28 June 2025, covered services such as e-commerce, consumer banking, e-books and passenger transport booking must meet accessibility requirements across the EU, including Lithuania.

Non-compliance is a real risk

National market surveillance authorities can require fixes and apply penalties set in national law. Inaccessible checkouts also mean complaints, lost orders and reputational damage.

Reach more customers

People with disabilities, older shoppers and anyone on a small screen or a slow connection benefit. Accessible sites are usually clearer, faster and easier for everyone to use.

From first audit to lasting compliance.

Accessibility is our first focus within a broader offer of digital compliance and quality services. Every engagement is practical, documented and built for your developers.

Frequently asked questions

Does the European Accessibility Act apply to my business?

It covers many consumer-facing products and services, including e-commerce, consumer banking, e-books, electronic communications and passenger transport services such as ticketing and booking. Microenterprises providing services (fewer than 10 employees and annual turnover or balance sheet total of no more than €2 million) are exempt from the service requirements. If you are unsure, send us your website and we will help you assess it.

What is the difference between WCAG and the EAA?

The EAA is the law; WCAG is the technical standard. The EAA sets accessibility requirements, and the harmonised European standard EN 301 549 uses WCAG Level AA success criteria for web content. Testing against WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 AA is the practical way to show your website meets them.

Isn't an automated scanner or an accessibility overlay enough?

No. Automated tools detect only part of the issues; many problems, such as confusing focus order, unclear labels or a checkout that cannot be completed by keyboard, need a human to find. Overlay widgets do not fix the underlying code. Our audits combine automated scanning with manual expert testing.

Do you fix the code for us?

We provide detailed remediation guidance and support your developers or agency while they implement fixes, then re-test the results. If you need hands-on development, we can work alongside your existing team or partner agency.

Is your report a legal certificate?

There is no official EAA certificate for websites. Our conformance report documents what was tested, how, and the results, which is strong evidence of your efforts and a basis for your accessibility statement. It is not legal advice; for legal questions, consult a qualified lawyer.
